Signing a one-year deal with the NSW Waratahs in 2018, the flanker is renowned for his work in defence and the breakdown. The 24-year-old first started playing rugby at the age of five and hasn’t looked back, playing out his junior rugby days at the Shoalhaven rugby club on the south coast of NSW. Miller attended Illawara Grammar School in Years 7-10, finishing off his schoolboy rugby as at Scots College. A stint with GPS 1’s, another with Combined States and finally with NSW Schoolboys earned Miller selection in the Australian Sevens team that won bronze at the Junior Commonwealth Games. Off the training paddock, Miller, a seventh generation dairy farmer, spends his time toiling away at his family’s property in Berry on the NSW south coast. Miller made his debut for his home State against the Sharks on 3 March 2018 at Durban's Kings Park Stadium, the same venue where he received his first Vodafone Super Rugby cap for the Rebels.
