Joining the Waratahs in 2015 as part of the extended playing squad, Jake Gordon was named amongst the players destined for Super Rugby stardom after an outstanding season in both the Shute Shield and Buildcorp NRC last year.
He played an instrumental part in the NSW Country Eagles campaign in 2016, following two years with the Sydney Stars in the Buildcorp NRC. He finished the season with the Grand Finalist finishing Eagles as joint leading try-scorer, with nine tries to his name. His outstanding form saw him earn the title of the 2016 Buildcorp NRC Players’ Player, as voted by his peers, at the annual RUPA Awards.
