Bio

Israel Folau will remember 2017 as a year in which he won the John Eales medal for a third year in a row, was a finalist in World Rugby’s Player of the Year and set a new Australian record for tries in a calendar year with 12 in his 10 Tests. He was also joint top try-scorer in the Rugby Championship and earlier in June he scored doubles in three consecutive Tests. In 2016 he was the highest Super Ruby try scorer for the NSW Waratahs in the Club’s history after surpassing previous record holder, Lote Tuqiri when he crossed for his 30th try in round eight.
